Mobile IP Networking

The Mobile IP technique, information that allows the environment that interconnects multiple network (internetwork), information terminals such as a notebook PC can be moved between networks, and continuous access to the same IP address each This is a network technology.

In order to provide service access to flexibly personal digital assistants, art mobility management of a mobile IP network, security management, QoS etc. (Quality of Service) management is becoming increasingly important. In our laboratory, we are conducting research on methods to realize the related technology of them.

Mobile Ad-hoc Networking

Ad-hoc network is a technology that allows you to configure immediately, the only terminal in the network does not rely on infrastructure such as access point or base station.

In recent years, due to the development of standardized small wireless device and mobile terminal, lightweight, and low cost, it has been attracting attention as a means of building ubiquitous network and sophistication of mobile communications.

In this field of research, there fusion routing of mobile ad hoc networks, and mobile IP mobile communication network, Internet access, cross-layer design, and mobile ad-hoc network applications.

Reliability, Security, and Performance

It's aimed to realize the construction method of distributed multimedia network system that performs research on management techniques of security of distributed multimedia network system, with reliability and high safety.
